Immediately after the successful 1st Congress of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, Dak Lak province urgently deployed many key solutions to realize the target of 30% GRDP coming from digital economy .
Traceability from farm to factory
Comrade Do Huu Huy, Deputy Secretary of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, said: “The focus is determined to promote digital transformation in the agricultural sector, from cultivation, digital agricultural maps, application of artificial intelligence (AI), big data in supply chain management, to processing and commercialization of agricultural products…”.
The pioneer in promoting digital transformation in the agricultural sector according to the Resolution of the 1st Dak Lak Provincial Party Congress is 2/9 Import-Export One Member Limited Liability Company (Simexco Dak Lak).
The company has promoted the export of high-value agricultural products through digital transformation, with specific steps such as: deploying a digital agricultural map of the coffee and pepper industries covering up to 50,000 farming households; operating a traceability system for each order, allowing customers to directly update transparent information from the garden...
In particular, at the Anuga 2025 International Fair held in Germany from October 4 to 8, 2025, Simexco Dak Lak introduced the VR 360 (virtual reality) experience to visitors, recreating the entire supply chain from farm to factory, from cultivation to processing, packaging... Each order can be traced back to the garden, transparent and trustworthy.

Not stopping there, global customers can also access online to view product information, quality certificates and place orders right on the digital platform, with 24/7 care by AI Chatbot - creating convenience and instant connection.
“Digital transformation is not only a trend, but also an inevitable path for Vietnamese agricultural products to integrate more deeply into the global value chain. Simexco is proud to be a bridge to help Dak Lak agricultural products reach further, accompanying the province on the journey of building a digital economy and sustainable development, contributing to bringing the digital economy content to 30% of Dak Lak province's GRDP”, Chairman of the Board of Members of Simexco Dak Lak Le Duc Huy affirmed.
In fact, in the current strong digital transformation trend, the application of virtual reality technology (VR 360) not only brings "tours" to help businesses improve customer experience but also allows customers to directly update transparent information from the garden to the factory...
Inclusive business and sustainable development
Not only pioneering digital transformation in the agricultural sector of Dak Lak province, Simexco Dak Lak is also honored to become the only enterprise representing Vietnam in the entire 10 ASEAN countries to be awarded two prestigious awards : Inclusive Business and ASEAN Sustainable Development 2025.

These are the ASEAN Inclusive Business Awards 2025 and the Sustainability Special Award.

The ASEAN Inclusive Awards were initiated in 2018, chaired by the ASEAN Small and Medium Enterprise Working Group (SMEWG) to nominate leading enterprises in building Inclusive Business (IB) models.
In Vietnam, the Agency for Private Enterprise and Collective Economic Development (APED), Ministry of Finance, is the focal point of SMEWG. Simexco Dak Lak is nominated by APED to participate in the ASEAN Inclusive Business Award based on the evaluation results of inclusive business enterprises implemented by FTU Innovation and Incubation Center under the SIP100 impact business incubation program in building an inclusive business model in Vietnam.
This is an annual award to honor businesses that are at the forefront of building inclusive business models, which not only focus on profits but also expand participation opportunities, create stable income and improve the lives of disadvantaged people, especially farmers, women and communities in rural areas.

The award has strategic significance as it is considered a “new standard” for ASEAN businesses, affirming the central role of inclusive business in regional economic development, while creating international prestige for businesses to expand cooperation with global corporations, financial institutions and sustainable investors.
In 2025, the award will include two special categories: the Inclusivity Special Award for businesses with a model that creates strong social impact, spreading benefits to the majority, and the Sustainability Special Award for businesses with a strategy that harmoniously combines economic efficiency, social responsibility, and environmental protection.
Simexco Dak Lak was awarded two awards: Inclusive Business and Sustainable Development at the 8th ASEAN Inclusive Business Forum Awards Ceremony held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, affirming the prestige and stature of Vietnamese agricultural enterprises in the international arena. Simexco Dak Lak has undergone many rounds of rigorous evaluation, from documents to actual assessment, before being recognized by the International Jury.

According to the Organizing Committee, Simexco Dak Lak was honored for building an inclusive business ecosystem, connecting more than 50,000 Central Highlands farming households to the global value chain. Promoting deep processing, digital transformation and traceability, enhancing the value of Vietnamese agricultural products. At the same time, implementing many ESG (Environment-Social-Governance) projects associated with sustainable development and responsibility.
This achievement not only enhances the reputation of Simexco Dak Lak, but also marks the Vietnamese business brand on the regional and international economic map, contributing to affirming that Vietnam can absolutely become a model of inclusive business and sustainable development in ASEAN.

The 8th ASEAN Inclusive Business Forum 2025 took place on September 11-12 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, bringing together hundreds of senior ASEAN leaders, representatives of multinational corporations, investment funds, international development organizations and typical inclusive businesses in the region.
