cầu thủ MU ngày 6/9:

Van de Beek could still leave

Coach Ten Hag decided to remove midfielder Van de Beek from MU's 2023/24 Champions League group stage list.

Van de Beek's omission from the squad is not surprising to fans, as the Dutch midfielder is not in coach Ten Hag's plans.

In the summer transfer window of 2023, Van de Beek is on the liquidation list. However, the former Ajax player cannot leave MU despite receiving contact from Genoa, Sociedad and Lorient.

The summer transfer window in Europe's major leagues has ended, but Van de Beek could still leave Old Trafford. The 26-year-old midfielder could head to Türkiye, where the transfer window closes on September 15.

Currently, Galatasaray and Fernabache are negotiating to recruit MU players.

Getafe fans welcome Mason Greenwood

On the last day of the summer transfer window, MU decided to send Mason Greenwood to Getafe on loan until the end of the 2023/24 season.

Striker Mason Greenwood received a warm welcome at his Getafe debut yesterday (September 5).

Getafe's debut at Coliseum Alfonso Pérez along with Greenwood were two other new recruits, Diego Rico and Oscar Rodriguez.

However, Greenwood was the main character in this ceremony. The English striker is also Getafe's most notable contract in this summer's transfer market.

At the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez, Greenwood was greeted in an unexpected way. Hundreds of Getafe fans came here, wearing or holding up Greenwood's No. 12 shirt, chanting the 21-year-old's name.

According to Spanish media, Greenwood is not in the best physical condition yet. Therefore, the 21-year-old striker can only make his debut for Getafe at the end of this month.

Sofyan Amrabat wears shirt number 4 at MU

Just before the summer transfer window closed, Manchester United announced the signing of Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina. The Moroccan midfielder will arrive at Old Trafford on loan until the end of the season, with a buyout clause of around 21 million Euros.

On Sunday (September 3), MU announced the shirt numbers of new recruits such as Rasmus Hojlund, Sergio Reguilon or Altay Bayindir. Amrabat is the only name whose new shirt number has not been known yet, as the Red Devils have to complete the paperwork for this player.

Recently, Sofyan Amrabat officially wore the new shirt to debut for MU. The Old Trafford team also announced that the 27-year-old midfielder will be the new owner of the number 4 shirt.

Before Amrabat, the number 4 was worn by Phil Jones, who left United after his contract expired at the end of last season. The former England international had worn the shirt for 12 years, since moving from Blackburn Rovers in the summer of 2011.

At MU, this shirt number is often associated with the position of center back or midfielder. Famous players who have worn number 4 can be Owen Hargreaves, Juan Sebastian Veron or Steve Bruce.

The top European club competitions will be on hiatus for two weeks to make way for international fixtures. Sofyan Amrabat will only be able to make his debut for MU in the match against Brighton in the fifth round of the Premier League on September 16.

Chelsea give up on signing Jadon Sancho

Jadon Sancho was given no chance at MU after publicly challenging and opposing coach Erik ten Hag, while the reason Chelsea changed their mind about not buying the English player was also revealed.

According to ESPN reporter Mark Ogden, Jadon Sancho has “no way back” at MU after “breaking trust” with coach Erik ten Hag.

The Dutch coach removed Sancho from the squad for MU's 1-3 loss to Arsenal in round 4 of the Premier League, citing his performance in training as below standard.

Jadon Sancho quickly "turned on" coach Erik ten Hag, implying that he was lying and emphasizing that he had been turned into a scapegoat for a long time.

Telegraph reported that the MU captain was disappointed with Jadon Sancho's reaction, especially when he had created conditions for him to revive his form.

And ESPN 's Mark Ogden thinks that if Jadon Sancho does that, he will have no chance of staying at MU.

“For me, Sancho has absolutely no way back (at United) because he openly defied and opposed his manager. How can Erik ten Hag bring him back when there is clearly a breakdown of trust there?

United have been keen to let Sancho leave this summer and there was some interest last week but he has refused.

Coach Erik ten Hag will not be lenient here, after what he has 'dealt' with Rashford and Ronaldo. Therefore, I think Sancho has no chance of staying at Old Trafford."

Daily Mail revealed that Chelsea considered signing Jadon Sancho this summer but were "concerned about his attitude" so they switched to signing Cole Palmer from Man City.
