In the first 8 months of 2025, our country's total import-export turnover is estimated to reach nearly 600 billion USD, up 16.3% over the same period; exports alone reached 306 billion USD, up 14.8% and exceeding the yearly target.

According to experts, this is an impressive result in the context of global economic uncertainty, trade conflicts and geopolitical fluctuations that have severely affected the international supply chain.

Notably, Vietnam's Trade Counselor in the United States Do Ngoc Hung said that in the first 7 months of 2025, bilateral trade turnover reached 114.5 billion USD, an increase of 41% over the same period; of which Vietnam exported 106 billion USD and imported 8 billion USD.

Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien affirmed that to maintain growth in the uncertain global context, there needs to be synchronous coordination between the State, the trade system, associations and localities.

According to statistics from the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Environment, in the period of 2021-2024, Hanoi has converted 3,334 hectares of ineffective rice cultivation to other crops. Of which, 1,052 hectares were converted to annual crops, 1,358 hectares to perennial crops and 923 hectares converted to a rice-aquaculture model.

Director of the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Environment Nguyen Xuan Dai affirmed that the Department will continue to coordinate with localities to review and update appropriate land use planning, prioritizing the development of specialized areas for growing fruit trees, safe vegetables, flowers, ornamental plants, aquaculture, and agricultural models combined with eco-tourism.

Tam Hung Agricultural Cooperative is the focal point for forming the consumption chain of Boi Khe fragrant rice, linking businesses from production to consumption. Director of Tam Hung Agricultural Cooperative Do Van Kien shared that when the value chain operates smoothly, benefits not only come to farmers but also spread to support services, thereby creating a solid economic foundation for ecological goals.

Chairman of Tam Hung Commune People's Committee Bui Dinh Thai informed that the One Commune One Product (OCOP) program has been implemented in conjunction with digital transformation. Up to now, the whole commune has 11 OCOP products that have been evaluated and classified as 3 to 4 stars.

In terms of economy, Chairman of Tam Hung Commune People's Committee Bui Dinh Thai affirmed that, not stopping at agriculture, the pillars of socio-economic infrastructure are invested synchronously, creating a favorable environment for the ecological agricultural model to effectively promote.
