At the end of November, Giao Thong Newspaper reporters visited Vung Tau city ( Ba Ria - Vung Tau ) where the project to renovate Thuy Van street with Bai Sau park is being implemented. |
According to the reporter's records, the contractor has mobilized many motorbikes, equipment, and personnel to the construction site to spread out on Thuy Van Street and the beach area. At this construction site, workers are clearing and processing the ground, sawing and cutting trees... In addition, they are also focusing on digging molds and cutting the roadbed. |
Taking advantage of the hot weather, excavators, road rollers, and bulldozers were operated by workers from morning to night non-stop to speed up progress. |
To ensure safety during construction, areas are fenced and fully warning signs are placed. |
According to observations, most of the premises have been processed, only some areas were enforced by the authorities in the middle of last month, so businesses are cleaning up and moving their assets. |

The Project Management Board has also proposed to hand over the remaining site soon to serve the construction. |
Up to now, Thuy Van street has been fenced, old road surface cut, trees cut, and sewers built. In the inner park area, the road mold has been dug and the foundation has been scraped. |
The seawall section is being excavated, compacted, concrete lined, formwork installed, and concrete poured. Other areas are also being excavated, sheet piles driven, foundations made, and existing structures dismantled. |
“Most of the items are on schedule, only a few are behind schedule, but the Project Management Board has asked the contractor to speed up the implementation. The Project Management Board monitors and urges relevant units to check and install additional warning lights at intersections during the construction process,” said Mr. Linh. |
When completed, the project is expected to completely change the appearance of Bai Sau, opening up a view towards the sea, with functional areas and utilities so that residents and tourists can enjoy the most of what is natural from the sea.
