After collection, all the waste was sorted. Recycled waste was sold to local scrap collection facilities. This amount was donated to the People's Committee of Vung Tau Ward to support environmental protection activities. This is part of LSP's key sustainable development program called "Waste Rescue Mission", which aims to encourage the sorting of recyclable waste in Long Son commune, initiated in 2020. The program has helped bring more than 24,000 kg of recycled waste back into the production process. Currently, the program has been deployed in households, schools, military units and offices in Long Son commune, as well as at LSP's workplace.

In addition to the clean-up activities, LSP has also piloted a project to recycle old fishing nets, turning them into innovative products, thereby recycling additional income for local people and at the same time cleaning the ocean. “International Coastal Clean-up Day” is an annual global event to encourage people to collect trash on the coast and in waterways.
