In the industrial production sector, Nguyen Thi Trang, a member of the Trade Union of Hue Textile and Garment Joint Stock Company, is a representative of a generation of young, dynamic and creative workers. From a direct sewing worker, she has constantly learned and advanced to take on the position of pattern designer - an important step in the production process. Her initiative "Improving the stage of fixing the brace with a 1-needle machine with a cutting knife" has helped reduce 20% of operating time, saving hundreds of millions of VND each year for the business.

Notably, the initiative "Improving the B777 engine dock module for use in B787 engine maintenance", which was put into practice from May 2024. Thanks to this idea, the unit has saved more than 4.5 billion VND. The initiative has also been recognized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor with the Creative Labor Certificate in 2025.

Sharing about her creative journey, Ms. Tram confided: “When I see my colleagues spending a lot of time on a repetitive task, I always ask myself: Is there a way to do it faster, more compactly while still ensuring quality? From those small things, ideas for improvement gradually take shape.” Not stopping there, Ms. Tram also participated in the topic "Digitalizing information management for maintenance", helping to minimize errors and increase data processing speed; or the initiative "Manufacturing FRi racks for ATR ships", contributing to cost savings and increasing initiative in repairs.

The power of creativity and dedication

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh praised the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and all levels of trade unions for their many initiatives and continuous efforts in solving pressing and urgent issues of workers, especially women, such as implementing the construction of trade union social housing; models of "your health", "mass weddings", "summer camps for workers' children"...

The emulation movement "Good at public work, good at housework" has been implemented for more than three decades, attracting more and more active participation of Vietnamese women and becoming a strong driving force to unleash the great potential of female union members and workers.

With the responsibility of “doing well in public affairs”, the First Deputy Prime Minister said that the movement has promoted thousands of breakthrough initiatives, technical improvements, production rationalization, contributing practically to increasing labor productivity and sustainable development. With the responsibility of “doing housework”, the women have excellently fulfilled their roles as wives and mothers.

The First Deputy Prime Minister congratulated the 10 female union members who received awards and the 20 groups and 60 outstanding individuals who were honored: “You, each with your own circumstances and work, all shine with your will to rise up, your creative working spirit and a benevolent heart. You are the typical representatives of the qualities of Vietnamese women with courage, intelligence, compassion and aspiration” in the new era.

According to the First Deputy Prime Minister, our country is entering an era of rising up, becoming rich, prosperous, civilized, and happy with the aspiration to build a strong and prosperous country. This great mission requires greater consensus and determination than ever before, and in which the role and potential of women must be liberated and maximized. He requested that Party committees at all levels, authorities, ministries and branches must consider women's work and gender equality as a central and continuous political task; resolutely remove all barriers and gender prejudices, ensure an environment of real equality; continue to improve the legal framework, better protect the legitimate rights of female workers, especially in the informal sector...

Trade unions at all levels must strongly innovate, put women's work and the advancement of women at the center, and identify this as the highest responsibility of the leaders of trade union organizations. Trade unions must truly be a representative voice, strengthen negotiations and sign labor agreements with terms that are beneficial to female workers, especially in terms of health check-up support, child-rearing support, and education support.

For each female union member and worker, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh hopes that they will continue to promote their glorious and resilient tradition; always nurture great aspirations, dare to think, dare to do, dare to contribute to the Fatherland and family. “Always be confident, determine your true value and constantly strive to become the best version of yourself. Consider learning and improving your qualifications as an inevitable journey. And more importantly, know how to love and take care of your health, both physically and mentally. A beautiful face and a clear mind can only be formed in a healthy body. At the same time, you must proactively equip yourself with the necessary self-defense skills to protect yourself and your loved ones from dangers…” - Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh emphasized.
