The Consulate General of the Lao People's Democratic Republic (LPDR) in Da Nang , led by Consul General Souphanh Hadaoheuang, recently congratulated Buddha's birthday and offered alms on the occasion of Vesak 2568-2024 to monks at Tam Bao Pagoda, Binh Hien Ward, Hai Chau District, Da Nang City.

Here, the delegation performed rituals to worship the Three Jewels in honor of the Vesak Festival, commemorating three important events: the birth of Bodhisattva, the Buddha's enlightenment, and the Buddha's nirvana. The delegation held a ceremony to offer flowers and lanterns, praying for national peace, world peace, and the happiness of all living beings.

Afterwards, Venerable Thich Phap Hieu, abbot of Tam Bao Pagoda, transmitted the Three Refuges and Five Precepts, and a Lao monk led the chanting and offering of the four requisites in Pali. The ceremony took place in a solemn and cozy atmosphere with the chanting and chanting of the monks' blessings, praying for the members of the delegation and their families to be happy and peaceful.
