President Biden and his wife arrive on Nantucket Island for Thanksgiving holiday
Fox News reported on November 23 that US President Joe Biden and his family had just returned to billionaire David Rubenstein's residence on Nantucket Island (Massachusetts state) for Thanksgiving.
Air Force One landed at Nantucket Airport on the evening of November 21 (local time) and the president's family and Secret Service immediately departed for Mr. Rubenstein's 5.6-hectare coastal residence.
The president's family will also celebrate his 81st birthday on November 20 with a traditional coconut cake, according to White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. Biden plans to make a call with U.S. troops on Thanksgiving Day, but has no other public events scheduled.
On November 24, Mr. Biden is expected to go to downtown Nantucket to attend the tree lighting ceremony on Main Street, something he has done for the past two years.
