Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Hai, Deputy Head of PC06, said: “The model of "Digital Citizen Station" helps people easily access and use online public services and social utilities right at their place of residence, without having to travel to administrative agencies. This is a concrete step in implementing Project 06, contributing to building digital citizens and digital communities in residential areas.”

The model integrates multiple services, focusing on two main groups: Public service kiosks support people in submitting documents, making online payments, looking up administrative procedure progress, reflecting information on security and order and related issues.

Civil utility group, providing services such as paying electricity, water, telecommunication bills; registering for remote medical examination and treatment; buying health insurance online; opening a bank account, registering for a credit card, identifying SIM cards...
Diamond Island Building is the first location in Ho Chi Minh City chosen to pilot the model. Thereby, the authorities will evaluate the practical effectiveness before replicating it throughout the city.

Evaluating the new model, Mr. Nguyen Chi Thanh, Chairman of Binh Trung Ward People's Committee shared: "This is one of the pilot models demonstrating the locality's proactive and creative spirit in implementing Project 06 and the national digital transformation program. The digital citizen station helps shorten the distance between the government and the people, aiming at the goal of serving faster, more conveniently, and more transparently."
Mr. Thanh affirmed that the locality will continue to coordinate with the City Police in the process of operating and expanding the model; at the same time, ensuring infrastructure, information security, and promoting propaganda so that all people, especially the elderly, can easily access the service.
In the coming time, PC06 and the People's Committees of wards and communes will continue to coordinate with technology enterprises to deploy and replicate the "Digital Citizen Station" model in many other residential areas, contributing to accelerating the digital transformation process of Ho Chi Minh City in a modern direction, taking people as the center of service.
