Ho Chi Minh City: Training on artificial intelligence application for Party officials and civil servants

The Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has just issued an urgent document on organizing a training conference on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) for cadres, civil servants and public employees at Party agencies in the city to improve work efficiency and keep up with the digital transformation trend.

The conference aims to raise awareness of the role, potential and orientation of AI application in innovating working methods; equipping knowledge and skills to use popular AI tools for consulting, information synthesis, text analysis, supporting planning, drafting reports, proposing solutions...

Officials and civil servants of Party agencies will be trained in AI application skills in performing tasks.

At the same time, the conference also helps to form the right attitude and responsibility in using AI, ensuring safety and security, in accordance with political and legal orientations and requirements of Party building work in the digital transformation period.

The conference was held online from the Central bridge, taking place over 4 days (from September 9 to September 12).

At the Ho Chi Minh City bridge (City Hall, No. 111 Ba Huyen Thanh Quan, Xuan Hoa Ward), the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee presided over, with the participation of City Party Committee members, leaders, civil servants of specialized agencies advising and assisting the City Party Committee.

At the grassroots connection points, the Standing Committees of Party Committees of agencies and units presided. Participants included leaders, cadres, civil servants, and public employees of Party Committees directly under the City Party Committee; the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; socio-political organizations of the city; Party Committees of wards, communes, and public service units; departments, branches, and sectors...

The conference is expected to introduce popular AI tools, including the practice of using ChatGPT to serve research, synthesis, document analysis, construction, planning, reporting... In addition, there will be discussion sessions on security violations, information distortions and principles of using AI in the right political direction, safely and effectively.
