Accordingly, AWS will become the official cloud and cloud AI Partner of the NBA and affiliated leagues, including the WNBA, NBA G League, Basketball Africa League and NBA Take-Two Media.
As part of the partnership, the NBA and AWS will launch the AWS-powered NBA Inside the Game platform – a new basketball intelligence platform that transforms billions of data points into valuable insights, delivering engaging interactive experiences that open up entirely new ways for fans around the world to connect with the game of basketball.
Powered by AWS's industry-leading AI infrastructure, the platform includes a range of new features to enhance live game streaming and deliver superior fan experiences across the NBA app, NBA.com, and the league's social media channels.

The NBA will leverage AWS AI technology to provide fans with live, in-depth statistical analysis during the game. This advanced statistical platform analyzes data from 29 points of movement for each player, combining machine learning (ML) and AI to closely monitor the game and provide real-time insights.
Fans can access the new stats through the NBA App, NBA.com, and during live NBA games, including Prime's NBA on Live.
Beginning with the 2025–2026 season, the NBA and AWS will introduce a new suite of AI-powered statistics, including unprecedented basketball performance metrics.
Through this partnership, the NBA will advance the growth of basketball globally by providing fans with new and unique opportunities to better understand team strategy and the concepts for implementing that strategy on the court.
In addition, the NBA and AWS will also provide multilingual content and personalized experiences for fans across multiple platforms.
