Center for Disease Control supports environmental treatment and water treatment in Nam Tuan commune

On October 3, 2025, the Center for Disease Control came to monitor and provide professional support for environmental sanitation, treatment of flooded domestic water sources, and disease prevention and control after storms and floods in Nam Tuan commune.

Officials from the Center for Disease Control distribute and instruct people on how to use Aquatabs water disinfectant tablets in Bang Giang hamlet, Nam Tuan commune.

Due to the influence of storm No. 10 causing prolonged heavy rain in the area province, in which Nam Tuan commune has 02 flooded hamlets, Bang Giang and Coc Lung 1 hamlets, with 33 households deeply submerged in water. Immediately after the water receded, Nam Tuan Commune Health Station and Hoa An Health Center deployed environmental disinfection spraying and barns in flooded households. The Center for Disease Control came to supervise and provide professional support on environmental treatment, water treatment for daily life and disease prevention and control after storms and floods. At the same time, 200 Aquatabs water disinfectant tablets were distributed to flooded households and instructed people on how to use them to disinfect water for daily life.

According to the plan, in the coming time, the Center for Disease Control will continue to monitor and provide professional support on environmental sanitation, domestic water treatment and disease prevention and control after storms and floods in flooded areas in the province.
