According to the family's confirmation, the victim was Nguyen Viet Truong, born in 2002, from Ba Vi, Hanoi . As soon as the information was received, the Cao Bang Provincial Health Department immediately took action, coordinating with local authorities and functional forces to deploy necessary medical measures to support the victim's family. After completing the procedures, the local authorities will hand over the body to the family for funeral arrangements.
Up to this point, there is still one missing victim who has not been found, Ms. Dinh Thi Hai (born in 1989), residing in Y Yen, Nam Dinh province (old), now Ninh Binh province.
As reported, on the night of September 29 and the early morning of September 30, at the construction site of the Dong Dang - Tra Linh Expressway Project, Duc Long Commune, a flash flood occurred, injuring two people and leaving three missing. Immediately after receiving the information, the Provincial Civil Defense Command directed the establishment of a Command Center at the scene, directly commanded by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Van Thach; assigned the Provincial Military Command to preside over and coordinate with the Provincial Police to direct forces to urgently search for the missing victims swept away by the flood.
Currently, rescue forces are still urgently searching for the remaining missing victims around the flash flood scene, at the same time, continuing to mobilize human and material resources to support people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and soon stabilize their lives.
