(gialai.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of September 29, Quy Nhon College of Technology held a ceremony to announce and present the Decision of the Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee on personnel work. Attending the ceremony were comrades: Lam Hai Giang - Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Vo Thi Thu Hoa - Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Pham Minh Trung - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs. Also attending were the Board of Directors and heads and deputy heads of departments and units under Quy Nhon College of Technology.

At the ceremony, on behalf of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs Pham Minh Trung announced Decision No. 1793/QD-UBND, dated September 12, 2025 on the appointment of the Principal of Quy Nhon College of Technology. Accordingly, Mr. Pham Van Tuong, Vice Principal in charge of Quy Nhon College of Technology, was appointed to hold the position of Principal of Quy Nhon College of Technology. The term of appointment is 05 years, starting from September 15, 2025.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lam Hai Giang congratulated Mr. Pham Van Tuong on being appointed as Principal of Quy Nhon College of Technology. Comrade Lam Hai Giang affirmed that this is an important milestone not only for Mr. Pham Van Tuong personally, but also a meaningful event for the school in the transition period, towards the goal of sustainable development.

According to the assessment of the Provincial Leaders, in recent years, Quy Nhon College of Technology has continued to maintain its position and role in the vocational education system and is one of the key quality schools with training majors that closely approach the standards of the labor market, the rate of students after completing the training program and graduating from school, most of them have stable jobs and high incomes, this is the achievement of the school's staff and lecturers, including the contribution of Mr. Pham Van Tuong.

Vice Chairman of Lam Hai Giang People's Committee expressed his hope that in his new position, Mr. Pham Van Tuong will continue to promote his capacity and qualities, maintain the central role of solidarity, gather collective intelligence, create consensus throughout the school; promote innovation, creativity and efficiency in all aspects of activities, from administration, training to business cooperation and applied research.

At the same time, he proposed that the Quy Nhon College of Technology continue to be an exemplary force, taking the lead in implementing the Politburo 's Resolution 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation. In the new period, the school needs to continue to develop and innovate training programs according to market needs, not only training labor resources for the province but also moving towards the mission of becoming a key human resource training center in the region.

In his acceptance speech, the new Principal of Quy Nhon College of Technology, Pham Van Tuong, expressed his sincere thanks to the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Home Affairs and the departments and branches of the province for entrusting him with the responsibility of leading the school in the new period. The new Principal also expressed his gratitude to the generations of leaders, teachers and staff of the school who have been steadfast in their vision, mission and goals of building and developing the school over the past 63 years of construction and growth, so that today, the school has a solid foundation to continue to grow.

New Principal Pham Van Tuong shared that this is a great honor for him, but at the same time it is also a great responsibility. Mr. Pham Van Tuong pledged to fulfill his responsibilities, focus on innovation, creativity, and dedication to complete the assigned tasks well, for the benefit of students and for the cause of developing high-quality human resources for his homeland and country.
