At the border commune of Lao Chai, the delegation inspected the damage caused by storm No. 10 affecting Lao Chai Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities. In the 2025-2026 school year, the school has over 700 students, including 507 boarding students. Heavy rains for many days led to a landslide on the afternoon of September 30, collapsing 4 dormitories, 1 warehouse, and many sections of the school campus were cracked and tilted, with a high risk of collapse.

She also emphasized that the school needs to strengthen propaganda and warnings, not allowing students and teachers to return to dangerous areas; coordinate with relevant agencies to study construction plans and relocate the project to a safe and stable location for the long term.

The delegation gave Lao Chai commune 300 boxes of instant noodles, 50 boxes of milk, and 500 boxes of mineral water to deliver to people and students in the affected area.
