Schools damaged by earthquake

QNgTV- Due to the impact of consecutive earthquakes that occurred on the evening of October 5 and early morning of October 6, many classrooms at Mang But 2 Primary and Secondary Boarding School (Mang But Commune, Quang Ngai Province) were damaged.

The facilities of Mang But 2 Ethnic Boarding School (Mang But Commune, Quang Ngai Province) were damaged by the effects of consecutive earthquakes that occurred on the evening of October 5 and early morning of October 6.

Previously, a 4.9 magnitude earthquake occurred at 1:28 a.m. this morning in Mang But commune, causing damage to the tiled roof and cracked walls of Mang But 2 Primary and Secondary Boarding School.

According to a quick report, the roof of the principal's building was completely damaged. This building currently has one classroom with 36 students and one computer room serving the teaching activities of 100 elementary school students. Four rooms of 60 boarding students have cracked walls, and the roof of the teachers' dormitory is also tilted.

The school has arranged for boarding students to stay in the Fine Arts classroom and reading room. Temporarily stop teaching IT, and remove the entire computer system to ensure safety. The school's Board of Directors has also reported to the People's Committee of Mang But commune to conduct a field survey and have a plan to promptly fix and repair.
