Bo Y commune basically completed compensation after environmental incident

QNgTV- After the environmental incident that occurred on July 30, 2025 at Ngoc Hoi Solid Waste Treatment Complex, up to now, the government of Bo Y commune (Quang Ngai province) has basically completed compensation and support for affected households, contributing to stabilizing the situation, maintaining security and order and creating consensus among the people.

Immediately after the incident, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Bo Y commune directed the Commune Police to coordinate with the Project Management Board and Public Services, departments, branches and organizations to deploy many synchronous measures. Propaganda and mobilization work was carried out extensively, helping people to have full access to information on compensation and support policies.

As of October 5, 2025, 8/9 households have agreed to receive compensation and signed a commitment not to file a lawsuit. The remaining household is currently absent from the locality, but has agreed on a compensation plan. The People's Committee of Bo Y commune is continuing to direct relevant units to complete the payment to this household, ensuring progress and regulations.
