Teachers apply artificial intelligence to create engaging lectures

Hung Vuong Secondary School currently has 40 classrooms with more than 1,700 students. The school's facilities are fully invested with subject classrooms, laboratories, practice rooms, administrative areas, auditoriums, etc., meeting the requirements of general education innovation.

The entire school currently has 83 cadres, teachers, and employees, most of whom are young, healthy, dedicated to their profession, and love their students. Determining that the teaching staff plays a key role in improving the quality of teaching and learning, in recent times, Hung Vuong Secondary School has regularly innovated teaching methods, organized seminars, and trained to improve digital capacity, and applied artificial intelligence (AI) in teaching. Teachers actively participate in competitions and have won many provincial awards. In the 2024-2025 school year alone, the entire school has 7 teachers who have achieved the title of excellent teachers at the provincial level.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Cong, Head of the Natural Science Group, Hung Vuong Secondary School, said: Teachers in the group are very active in innovating teaching methods and have achieved many high achievements in provincial competitions for excellent teachers. In addition, teachers in the group also guide students to participate in competitions related to science and technology.

Ms. Hoang Thi Phuong Lien, English teacher at Hung Vuong Secondary School, shared: “Recently, I have applied information technology and AI to create lessons, bringing about many positive changes and making students more interested. If in the past, teachers only used images and videos available online to create lessons, now they can use AI to personalize these images and videos; or use AI to create storybooks, flip books, use other AI technologies such as Gemini AI, Canva AI to create many games with eye-catching interfaces, high interactivity, and better attract students.

Students confidently step into the new era

With the dedicated guidance of teachers, students of Hung Vuong Secondary School always actively participate in competitions for excellent students, competitions related to science and technology, math and English competitions on the internet... In the 2024-2025 school year, the school's students won many awards at the provincial and national levels. In particular, the product "EcoSoy - vegetable leather from soybean residue" won third prize at the provincial level of the Science and Technology Innovation Competition.

In terms of professional quality, in the 2024-2025 school year, more than 93% of the school's students achieved good conduct; nearly 71% of students had good or excellent academic performance. Notably, the rate of junior high school graduates reached 100% for many consecutive years.

In addition, the school always focuses on moral education and life skills for students, helping them fully equip themselves with the necessary conditions to become global citizens in the future.

As one of the outstanding students of Dong Nai province, Le Gia Vinh, class 9/5 of the school confided: In the past school years, I have achieved many high achievements in studying and training. Among them, the achievement that makes me feel most proud is playing the role of Chairman of the Children's National Assembly at the 2nd Children's National Assembly mock session in 2024 held at Dien Hong Hall - National Assembly House (Hanoi).

Hung Vuong Secondary School has been awarded the Second Class Labor Medal; Third Class Labor Medal; Certificate of Merit by the Provincial People's Committee; the title of Advanced School; Provincial-level Advanced Model; Provincial-level Green, Clean, Beautiful School and many other outstanding achievements.

To achieve that dream, I am improving my speaking ability so that in the future I can contribute to speaking up for Vietnam in the international arena, building good friendly relations between Vietnam and other countries in the world. Thereby, I can contribute my small part to the development of the country,” Gia Vinh shared.
