Navy Commander visits and wishes a Happy New Year to Brigade 169

On January 21, Vice Admiral Tran Thanh Nghiem, member of the Party Central Committee and Commander of the Navy, visited and extended New Year greetings to officers and soldiers of Brigade 169, Naval Region 1 (Van Don, Quang Ninh). The delegation included the heads of the General Staff, Political Department, Logistics Department, Technical Department and representatives of several agencies under the Navy Command.

Officers and soldiers of the Brigade welcomed the Navy Commander.

In 2024, under the leadership and direction of the Party Committee, Brigade Commander and Party committees and commanders at all levels, the entire unit united, proactively and creatively completed the tasks of training, combat readiness, patrolling, reconnaissance, management, protection of sea sovereignty, and transportation to support islands; helping people prevent, combat and overcome the consequences of storm No. 3 (YAGI), contributing to maintaining a peaceful environment , developing a sustainable marine economy, and building a strong and comprehensive Brigade "Exemplary and typical". The Brigade Party Committee excellently completed its tasks. The Brigade was awarded the Emulation Flag of the Ministry of National Defense; many collectives and individuals were awarded emulation titles by leaders at all levels.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, Vice Admiral Tran Thanh Nghiem wished the officers and soldiers of Brigade 169 good health, a happy, healthy, safe spring and high combat readiness.
