On September 22, Lan Zhanfei suddenly became the most searched in China after revealing in a live broadcast that he could earn up to 100 million yuan (about 369 billion VND) per year from content creation.

Zhanfei was born into a poor family in Luoding (Guangdong province). When he was in high school, his father passed away from a heart attack, and his mother suffered a mental breakdown and fell into depression, leaving the burden of food, clothing, and debt on the shoulders of her eldest son.

Despite being famous and having 25 million followers, Zhanfei has never hidden his poor childhood or the fact that his mother scolded him for being too addicted to playing games.
