On the evening of June 28, at the Saigon River Park Square (Thu Duc City), the 2024 Vietnamese Family Festival took place with the theme "Happy family, healthy and beautiful life, joyful life".

This is an activity to celebrate Vietnamese Family Day 2024 organized by Thu Duc City People's Committee in coordination with related units, lasting from June 28 to July 7.

According to the organizers, the festival is held to honor the beautiful image of a happy family, at the same time connecting family members, spreading positive messages, and creating community and social interest in building family culture.

Besides, the festival is a highlight to stimulate tourism in Ho Chi Minh City during the bustling summer tourist peak month.

Within the framework of the festival, there will be a digital transformation - smart consumption program introducing and displaying digital technology products. Thereby helping people access and experience smart consumption digital transformation services in daily life.

The festival space will gather all commercial activities, services for beautiful, healthy and happy living, along with many exciting and joyful nightly music and entertainment programs.

In addition, the organizers said the park will also have additional spaces for nutrition and health consultation and beverage and food booths to serve festival attendees.

The festival also organizes an exhibition area to promote images of happy families and healthy living so that people always pay attention to the good values of life.

Previously, Tan Binh District People's Committee also coordinated with relevant units to organize Family Festival Day with the theme "Happy Family - Prosperous Nation", and a discussion on "Connecting Family Happiness in the 4.0 Era"; commending outstanding collectives, models and individuals in family work and preventing and combating domestic violence in the 2023 - 2024 period on June 27.

According to a representative of Tan Binh district, the Cultural and Happy Family Festival is an annual activity of the district with the desire to contribute to preserving and promoting the good traditional cultural values of Vietnamese families in the new era.
