On October 23, Ms. Cao Thi Thanh Nhan - Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cu Chi Commune (HCMC) - said that at the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio- political organizations of the commune, term 2025-2030, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune commended 56 typical advanced and active examples in the movement "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" in the period 2020 - 2025.
The above typical examples are individuals who actively participate in social activities and work in residential areas, contribute to social security, and actively propagate and mobilize people to implement the policies of the Party and State.
Many individuals actively participated and mobilized land donation for road construction, contributed funds for road construction, awarded scholarships, Tet gifts, charity kitchens, meaningful breakfasts, cared for families and children in difficult circumstances, etc. These activities brought practical values, contributing to spreading the spirit of humanity and community solidarity.
The oldest person among the 56 typical advanced examples in the 2020 - 2025 period to be honored is Mr. Nguyen Van Tam (87 years old, residing in Hamlet 6A, Cu Chi Commune).
According to information from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cu Chi commune, Mr. Tam is a typical citizen of Hamlet 6A who always complies with the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws. In order to join hands in building the new countryside, Mr. Tam donated 400m² of land to build Road 425 (Cu Chi commune).

Sharing with Tuoi Tre Online , Mr. Tam said he voluntarily donated 400 square meters of land for the locality to build roads, creating favorable conditions for people to travel. He expressed his wish that his hometown would develop more and more, and that people's lives would be better.
He was very happy when his actions were recognized and commended by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cu Chi commune. Receiving a certificate of commendation for typical advanced models and a gift of a map of 34 administrative units of provinces and cities in Vietnam, he was moved to express that this was very precious to him and he would keep it carefully.
Mr. Tam's relatives shared that the family strongly agrees and supports his voluntary donation of land to build roads, considering this a meaningful act that contributes to the common good.
