Indonesian women's team calls up 3 naturalized players to compete with Vietnamese women's team at AFF Cup

(Dan Tri) - The Indonesian Football Federation (PSSI) has announced a list of 23 national women's team players who will participate in the 2025 Southeast Asian Women's Football Championship (AFF Cup) taking place in Vietnam in early August.

Notably, among the 23 Indonesian female players who will participate in the AFF Cup 2025 in Vietnam announced by PSSI, there are three naturalized players: Isa Warps, Estella Loupattij and Noa Leatomu.

Isa Warps is a midfielder of Dutch origin, only 20 years old this year, has an impressive height of 1m78 and is currently playing for the NAC Breda Club of the "land of tulips".

Meanwhile, Estella Loupattij is also a player of Dutch origin, playing as a striker for the Zulte Waregem Club but has a relatively modest height of 1m61. The striker born in 2003 has played for the Indonesian women's team since October 2024, playing 6 matches but has not scored any goals.

The other naturalized player for the Indonesian women's team is Noa Leatomu, also of Dutch origin and currently playing as a defender for VfR Warbeyen. Last November, along with Estella Loupatty, Leatomu obtained Indonesian citizenship and became one of the first naturalized female players for the Indonesian women's team.

According to the list announced by PSSI about the squad participating in the AFF Cup 2025 in Vietnam, the goalkeeper position will include 3 players: Laita Roati, Thasza Amelia, Indri Yulianti.

Then, in the defender position, coach Joko Susilo called up 8 players including Agnes Hutapea, Vivi Oktavia, Siti Nuriyah, Remini, Rihla Nuer, Feni Binsbarek, Noa Leatomu and Octavianti Nurmalita.

In midfield, the Indonesian women's team will be reinforced with Viny Silfianus, Shalika Aurelia, Amanda Florentinae, Widja Malebbi, Helsya Maeisyaroh, Rosdilah Siti, Aula Al Mabruroh and Rosalia.

Indonesia's forward line was then reinforced by Reva Octaviani, Marsela Awi, Isa Warps and Estella Loupattij.

Indonesia is in Group A with Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia. Meanwhile, Group B includes the Philippines, Myanmar, U23 Australia and Timor Leste.
