In the first training session, the Vietnam U20 women's team restarted in cool, favorable weather conditions after nearly a month of hiatus. Coach Okiyama Masahiko and the coaching staff checked the physical condition of the entire team and conducted light exercises to help the players get into the training rhythm.

Previously, the U20 players also participated in the 2025 Southeast Asian U19 Women's Championship in Ho Chi Minh City. Although they did not win the championship, the young Vietnamese players still left their mark with their progressive playing style and resilient fighting spirit.

Notably, the Vietnam U20 women's team will have an important training trip in Japan from July 11 to 21, with quality friendly matches to gain more experience before the important tournament.
