Talking to the working delegation of Hau Giang Provincial People's Committee, comrade Tran Trong Dung said that in recent years, local press activities have been increasingly effective, especially in coordination with local Journalists Associations and the Vietnam Journalists Association.

The Vice President of the Journalists Association also expressed his hope that in the coming time, press programs and activities will receive the attention of the Party Committee and the government of Hau Giang province. Especially, it is the companionship with major press awards such as the National Press Award, Golden Hammer and Sickle Award, etc. Thereby, the press will have the opportunity to contribute to spreading the values ​​and achievements in the process of building and developing Hau Giang.

“In the near future, many press activities will take place such as the National Press Festival in Ho Chi Minh City, the Mekong Delta Press Awards, the Vong Co Competition for journalists in the Western region, etc. Hopefully, Hau Giang press will actively participate to exchange and promote the achieved results. In addition, the Vietnam Journalists Association will support press units in Hau Giang province in professional work and skills in press communication activities to increasingly suit digital transformation activities,” said comrade Tran Trong Dung.

Comrade Tran Trong Dung - Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association in charge of the South presented the special issue of the Journalist & Public Opinion newspaper Spring Giap Thin 2024 to Comrade Ho Thu Anh - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee, concurrently Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Hau Giang province.

Representing the working delegation, comrade Ho Thu Anh - Vice Chairman of Hau Giang Provincial People's Committee expressed his thanks for the attention of the Vietnam Journalists Association. Especially in recent times, the Journalists Association has organized dialogues between press agencies and local leaders and many other meaningful activities.

These activities have helped to create more connections between journalists and the locality. From there, the values ​​of the land and people of Hau Giang have been spread. According to the Vice Chairman, Hau Giang province still has many challenges and difficulties ahead but will continue to strive to improve. Hopefully, the attention and support of the press agencies will help Hau Giang develop further.
