A journey to experience international football and culture under the cooperation program between Yamaha Motor Vietnam and Jubilo Iwata Club (Japan). This is a special reward for the outstanding faces of the Yamaha Cup 2025 National Youth Football Tournament (U13) Final Round.
Within the framework of the Yamaha Cup 2025 National Youth Football Tournament Finals - a tournament organized annually by the Vietnam Football Federation in collaboration with the Young Pioneer and Children's Newspapers, an international cooperation program called "U13 Yamaha Cup: Learning to play football with Jubilo Iwata Club coach" was launched to create comprehensive development opportunities for young football talents.
After a careful process of monitoring, evaluating and selecting from the matches in the tournament, representatives of Yamaha Motor Vietnam and Jubilo Iwata Club selected the two best players: Cao Huy Hoang (U13 Song Lam Nghe An) and Nguyen Manh Dung (U13 Nam Dinh ), along with the typical coach Vu Anh Tuan (Hoang Anh Gia Lai) to represent Vietnamese youth football to participate in the exchange and experience trip in Japan from October 18 to 27, 2025.
On the first day of arriving in Japan, the delegation had the opportunity to visit and work at the headquarters of the Japan Football Association (JFA) and J-League - considered the "heart" of Japanese football. Here, the members of the delegation were given an overview of the Japanese football development strategy, the orientation to raise the level of the national team with the goal of winning the World Cup in the near future.
In particular, two young Vietnamese players asked many profound questions to the JFA representatives, demonstrating their initiative, passion and outstanding learning mindset. Through the exchanges at JFA, the children were able to approach and better understand the philosophy of “Japan’s Way” - a comprehensive approach to football training, placing people at the center, focusing on discipline, will, teamwork and dedication.

Continuing their activities at JFA, in the coming days, two players Huy Hoang and Manh Dung will officially start practical training sessions at the youth training academy of Jubilo Iwata club - one of the traditional teams of J-League. Here, they will be directly instructed by Japanese coaches, participate in intensive training sessions and learn from local young players.
In addition to professional activities, the Vietnamese delegation also participated in many cultural exchange programs, experienced school life, and discovered the traditional beauty of the land of the rising sun, thereby helping students broaden their worldview, cultivate their bravery and practice confidence in an international environment.
The Yamaha Cup National Youth Football Tournament (U13) is not only a national playground but also the starting point for many generations of talented players, including many names who have played for the Vietnam national team. The event in collaboration with Jubilo Iwata Club opens up valuable opportunities for young players to access the region's leading advanced and professional training model.
Through the program, Yamaha Motor Vietnam hopes to contribute to nurturing a generation of young, talented players with a solid professional foundation, professional demeanor and the desire to contribute to the country's football in the near future.
