If “Beloved Mother” expresses the love and infinite gratitude of a child to his mother, reminding those who still have their mother not to forget to care for, look after, and show filial piety to their parents; then “Hanoi at the changing of seasons” is the heartfelt voice of a person who loves Hanoi, borrowing beautiful memories of the past to express his strong love for the land of a thousand years of culture, elegance, and constant brilliant development.
Sharing the reason for choosing to release 2 music videos with 2 different themes at the same time, musician Nhuan Phu summed up this decision in the word "fate". For her, each composition is like a "brainchild" with its own story, destiny and message, conveying the artist's emotions, feelings and compassion for life.
The song “Hanoi at the Seasonal Night” was composed by Nhuan Phu from a poem by poet Hong Thanh Quang - who once confided that he “grew up on the streets of Hanoi, both rustic and dreamy”. Based on the emotional harmony and love for this romantic poem, musician Nhuan Phu breathed life into the work, creating lyrical, poignant and profound melodies.

The song was written by the female musician in a profound, simple and emotional style, but interestingly, along with respecting the intact spirit and content of the work when composing music, the female musician also boldly included a Rap section with the breath of life and contemporary music, creating a surprising and new highlight.
Notably, the song was "chosen" by musician Nhuan Phu for divo Tung Duong - his close friend. Previously, in early July 2025, the male singer also performed Nhuan Phu's MV "Vietnam - The Rising Era", joining the musical flow praising the love of the homeland.
Talking about “Hanoi on a changing night”, Tung Duong shared that this is one of the beautiful songs about Hanoi, bringing the “Pho Phai” color clearly into music.

The MV is like a slow-motion film, bringing music lovers back to Hanoi of the old years, with memories that have long since faded away in life. Throughout the MV, one can see familiar images of Hanoi such as Long Bien Bridge, Hanoi Railway Station, Hanoi University, a villa with ancient French architectural imprints, moss-covered walls...
Singer Tung Duong expressed that what he likes most about musician Nhuan Phu is his sincere and emotional way of writing music and his ability to compose many different musical themes. Through music, musician Nhuan Phu always expresses his love for his homeland and his profound contemplations about life. The male singer also said that Nhuan Phu's music has very high ranges, requiring singers to have a wide vocal range; if they do not apply vocal techniques, it will be difficult to perform well. Therefore, how to make an impression when singing her compositions is not simple.

Tung Duong said that when he was young, when his parents went abroad to work, he was raised by his two uncles (musician Nhuan Phu's parents). Therefore, the two sisters Nhuan Phu and Tung Duong spent their childhood together very beautifully. In the male singer's memory, he could not forget the summer afternoons when the two sisters sang together at home, the little sister stood behind the curtain, holding the drum and beating the rhythm so that her younger brother could sing confidently. The musical sky in him was nurtured from those days.
Later, when Tung Duong became a singer, musician Nhuan Phu also studied music systematically. She composed quite a lot but did not show off. For Nhuan Phu, Tung Duong was the "teacher" who taught her the first notes, from solfege, music appreciation, vocal techniques... Later, she studied with singer Minh Anh of the 3A trio to take the entrance exam to the Hanoi College of Arts. Until now, both sisters still consider each other as soul mates in life and on the musical path.
Extremely moved by the MV “Hanoi at the Seasonal Night”, poet Hong Thanh Quang said that musician Nhuan Phu had led his poetry on a new path. “Perhaps only a woman’s heart can fully understand the love I have for Hanoi, the love that Hanoians have for each other. I watched this MV and tears kept flowing. When all the excitement is over, what remains is understanding”, poet Hong Thanh Quang confided.
With the second MV “My Dear Mother”, musician Nhuan Phu entrusted the performance to singer Do To Hoa - one of the high-pitched Soprano voices with beautiful timbre in the Vietnamese music industry today. The song has simple, rustic lyrics but still sophisticated and poetic - something often found in Nhuan Phu's compositions. “My Dear Mother” is like a lullaby but it is a lullaby filled with the feelings of a grown-up child dedicated to his mother.

Singer Do To Hoa confided that the song touched her heart with its sincerity and simplicity: “Music brings me back to my mother, to see how small I am but also full of strength. To me, this song is not only a work of art, but also a reminder to be grateful and loving, making me appreciate more the sacred motherly love, the kind of love that just thinking about it fills my heart with emotion.”
Musician Nhuan Phu shared that the inspiration for her to write “Beloved Mother” was the image of her grandmother and mother. Her grandmother passed away early, so she could only imagine her through the stories her mother told. She clearly felt that both her grandmother and mother were Vietnamese women who were industrious, hard-working, talented, patient, and full of sacrifice. Her mother was a literature teacher, so throughout her childhood, the female musician was always nurtured by lullabies, fairy tales, folk songs, proverbs, and lessons on being a human being from her mother.
Both MVs “Hanoi at the Seasonal Night” and “Beloved Mother” were directed by Tran Xuan Chung. Musician Ha Trung was in charge of arranging the two songs.
Musician Nhuan Phu was born in 1981 in a family with a rich artistic tradition. In addition to her passion for music, she also loves to explore new lands, cultures, and indigenous people. It was these trips that gave Nhuan Phu a lot of energy and emotion to write songs about the Fatherland, homeland, and human destiny. Among them, the song "Linh Thieng Quang Tri" won a prize in the songwriting contest about Quang Tri; the song "Vietnam, the Era of Rising" blended in the atmosphere of the A80 festival of the nation.
She is also the author of many other songs such as: "Ve BLao voi anh", "Ha Giang co via", "Em dep nhu hoa Son Tra", "Dieu dang noi nho mua thu", "Hu vo", "Giua", "Rock tinh", "Tinh phong", "Nguoi da ba sa desert", "Mua yeu", "Thuong", "La khoc"...
