Up to now, the results of the investigation and collection of information on the socio-economic status of 53 ethnic minorities in 2024 in the district have been conducted in 5 communes and towns with 26 sample maps. 2,588 households in 26 maps have been drawn up, completed before June 20, 2024. By the end of July 14, 2024, the whole district has collected information from 493 households/904 sample households, reaching 55.54%.

However, in the process of implementing the 53 Ethnic Minority Survey Plan in 2024, there were also some difficulties, such as: The educational level of ethnic minority people is uneven, and some households do not provide complete and accurate information as required. Investigators spend a lot of time to exploit information and fully update the survey form; households surveyed are in remote villages, mountainous terrain, difficult to travel. In some places, there is no signal or weak signal, investigators still face obstacles in getting location and synchronizing data; time to access households is limited, usually early morning or late afternoon because households work in the fields all day, affecting the progress of the survey.
