SPREADING THE PATRIOTISM OF EMULATION
In the 2020-2025 period, the Youth Union movements in Dong Nai were launched comprehensively and synchronously in all four stages: discovery - training - summarizing and replicating advanced models. The emulation movement is closely associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, becoming a driving force to promote the entire political system to act together for the goal of sustainable development.

A typical example is the Movement “The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas”, for many years, Dong Nai has always been the leading locality in the country in this field. The whole province currently has 67/72 communes meeting new rural standards, 25/72 communes meeting advanced new rural standards, 8/72 communes meeting model new rural standards…
Implementing the emulation movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, Dong Nai province has mobilized the strength of the entire political system and all classes of people to concentrate all resources to implement. The province has built and repaired over 3,600 houses, reaching 114.5% of the plan, exceeding the time set by the Government; at the same time, supporting 111 billion VND for Son La province, 38 billion VND for Dak Lak province and 10 billion VND for 2 provinces: Cao Bang, Yen Bai (now Lao Cai province) to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. Many households with housing difficulties have been happy in the warm and loving home of the social community, inspired by the correct and humane leadership of the Party and local authorities at all levels.
Mr. Nguyen Tan Phu, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province shared: Determining that building each house is not only a warm home of trust, but also a foundation for development so that "no one is left behind", the Front at all levels has promoted the spirit of TĐYN and implemented it with specific and effective actions, contributing to the overall development of the province.
Many specific movements and actions on TĐYN have been carried out in the past 5 years. TĐYN movements in Dong Nai have truly become a driving force for development, contributing to the province achieving many proud results. The economic growth rate in the period of 2021-2025 reached an average of 7.11%/year; GRDP per capita reached 153.7 million VND; total budget revenue was more than 378 trillion VND. Strategic infrastructure has been focused on investment such as: Long Thanh International Airport has started construction and is accelerating; highways and belt roads connecting Ho Chi Minh City, the Southeast region, the Central Highlands and the Mekong Delta have been continuously deployed. Export turnover in 5 years reached over 168 billion USD, Dong Nai continues to maintain its position as one of the localities with large contributions to the national budget.
Along with economic development, the fields of culture - society, health, education, and social security have all made important progress. Many good models and creative ways of studying, working, and producing have been replicated. The movement "The whole country competes in innovation and digital transformation"; the movement "Digital popular education" has been continuously deployed with specific goals such as: the rate of online records of the entire province reaches 70%; the scale of the digital economy reaches 20% of GRDP; information and communication technology (ICT) grows 15%/year. Regarding digital society, each citizen has a digital identity... All are aimed at implementing well and effectively Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology development, innovation, and national digital transformation in the province.
PATRIOTIC EMULATION - SOURCE OF DEVELOPMENT
Promoting the achievements in the past 5 years and effectively implementing the Resolution of the 1st Congress of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee launched the Emulation Movement for the period 2025-2030 with the goal: By 2030, build Dong Nai into a modern development center; achieve double-digit economic growth; take the lead in developing aviation economy, high-tech industry, science, technology, innovation, digital transformation... In which, the average GRDP growth rate reaches 10%/year or more; GRDP per capita reaches more than 250 million VND; the proportion of digital economy reaches more than 30%. The province strives to reduce the poverty rate by 1-1.5%/year; 80% of public schools meet national standards; the rate of trained workers with degrees and certificates reaches over 40%; reach 13-15 doctors and 32 hospital beds/10,000 people.
Along with economic and cultural development, Dong Nai identifies maintaining national defense - security, social order and safety as an important foundation for sustainable development. The province continues to build a national defense posture associated with people's security, build a solid defense zone, protect border sovereignty and the peaceful life of the people.
With the congress theme: "Solidarity, creativity, and competition to build Dong Nai province into a green, civilized, and modern development, together with the whole country entering a new era", the Party Committee, government, and people of Dong Nai are determined to strongly develop the Youth Union Movement, from small daily tasks to key projects being implemented...
Comrade Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council emphasized: In addition to implementing specific emulation movements, it is necessary to promptly discover, foster, commend, reward and replicate advanced models. In particular, pay attention to new factors, good models, and effective methods, because they are excellent "models", spreading the spirit of patriotic emulation, contributing to Dong Nai province achieving the set goals.
In the period of 2020-2025, the province has launched 28 Youth Union movements, implemented comprehensively, synchronously and closely linked with the implementation of political tasks, socio-economic development, and ensuring national defense and security. The greatest significance of the movement is to affirm the role of motivation, encouragement and motivation for all levels, sectors, business communities and people to overcome difficulties, contributing significantly to promoting Dong Nai to develop rapidly and sustainably, worthy of its position as a major industrial and service center of the country. At the same time, it creates a solid foundation for the province to enter a new stage of development.
