At the conference, delegates discussed and clarified the results achieved in the work of inspection, supervision, and Party discipline enforcement of Party committees, Party organizations, and inspection committees at all levels in the General Department Party Committee; the remaining shortcomings and limitations, and proposed many solutions to improve quality in the coming time.

The summary report and comments assessed that during the past term, Party committees, Party organizations, and inspection committees at all levels in the Party Committee of the General Department of Logistics and the Party Committee of the General Department of Engineering (now the Party Committee of the General Department of Logistics and Engineering) have led, directed, and implemented the tasks of economic, technical, and disciplinary enforcement, achieving comprehensive results in all aspects.

The conference affirmed that in the 2020-2025 term, Party committees, Party organizations, and inspection committees at all levels in the Party Committee of the General Department of Logistics and the Party Committee of the General Department of Engineering (now the Party Committee of the General Department of Logistics and Engineering) have led and directed the implementation and successful completion of the tasks of economic and technical work. The review and enforcement of discipline were carried out strictly, promptly, and in accordance with authority and regulations.

As a result, the effectiveness and efficiency of the economic and technical work have contributed to improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of party organizations, promoting the successful completion of political tasks of agencies and units; building a strong party organization in terms of politics, ideology, ethics, organization and cadres, and a strong unit in all aspects, "exemplary and typical".

Concluding the conference, Lieutenant General Do Van Thien requested Party committees at all levels to lead and effectively implement the tasks and solutions for economic and technical inspection that have been identified. Party committee leaders must be fully aware of their responsibilities and proactively and directly grasp and implement the tasks of economic and technical inspection and enforce Party discipline at their level; and overcome concerns when being inspected and disciplined.

Major General Nguyen Dinh Chieu, member of the Party Committee Standing Committee, Deputy Commissar of the General Department of Logistics and Technology, reported on the summary of inspection, supervision and Party discipline enforcement work for the 2020-2025 term.

Inspection and supervision work must be carried out regularly, comprehensively, publicly, democratically, cautiously and strictly; in which warning, prevention and containment are the main priorities. Self-inspection and self-monitoring at each Party committee and organization level must be taken seriously to promptly detect, remind, warn and prevent violations early; not to let limitations and shortcomings become violations; not to let small violations accumulate into large, prolonged and widespread violations.

Lieutenant General Do Van Thien emphasized that special attention must be paid to regular supervision of Party cells, because Party cells are the places that directly manage, educate and train Party members, and are the places that have a comprehensive grasp of each Party member. Performing good regular supervision at the Party cell level will directly limit Party member violations.
