People arbitrarily broke the fence of Trinh Cong Son park
On May 13, Thanh Nien reporters were present at this area to record. After the encroaching shops were forcibly evicted, this area was firmly fenced with corrugated iron, blocking the entrance from Trinh Cong Son Street and the park.
This fence is to serve the process of renovating the park after a period of encroachment and sloppiness, carried out according to the plan of the People's Committee of Hue City. However, at the time the reporter was present, this area had many fences that were arbitrarily demolished by people to make entrances to the park to... sell beer.

Breaking down fences to make entrance to encroached areas
Speaking with Thanh Nien reporter, Mr. Le Nhu Chinh, Director of Hue Green Park Center, confirmed that there was a situation where some households arbitrarily broke down fences to continue encroaching on the park.
Mr. Chinh said that previously, Hue Green Park Center coordinated with the City Urban Management Team, Police and Dong Ba Ward authorities to handle these encroaching drinking establishments.
"Tomorrow morning (May 14), we will dismantle the remaining encroached foundations to deal with the fence breaking. Currently, we are continuing to renovate that area according to the plan to place a statue of the late musician Trinh Cong Son. If households continue to encroach, we will coordinate with the authorities to strictly handle it according to regulations," said Mr. Chinh.
Trinh Cong Son Park is fenced off to serve the renovation process.
As Thanh Nien reported, in mid-March 2023, Hue City authorities, including Hue Green Park Center, Dong Ba Ward People's Committee (Hue City), and Urban Management Team, deployed to reclaim the land at Trinh Cong Son Park, after a long period of encroachment by shops.
This is part of the direction plan of the Hue City People's Committee to renovate Trinh Cong Son Park after a long period of encroachment. At the same time, it serves to install a sculpture of the late musician Trinh Cong Son, donated by a businessman, in this park.
