In the mountainous area of Hue City, prolonged heavy rains caused landslides at Pe Ke Pass (Km 314+400, Ho Chi Minh Road, Ke Village, A Luoi 1 Commune). There were 3 major landslides, making traffic difficult. Hong Van Border Guard Station mobilized officers and soldiers to urgently dig up rocks and soil, level the road surface, creating conditions for vehicles to circulate.

At the sea border, Phong Hai Border Guard Station is mobilizing officers and soldiers along with local forces and people to build sandbags to reinforce and prevent landslides from encroaching deep into residential areas in Hai Dong residential group, Phong Quang ward, Hue city.
During the day, Border Guard stations also actively supported people in A Luoi communes to harvest the Summer-Autumn rice crop to reduce damage caused by storms.

At about 2:30 p.m. on September 28, at An Duong 2 residential group's fishing boat, Thuan An ward, Hue city, fishing boat TTH 96854 TS of Mr. Nguyen Van Tan (born in 1972, residing in Xuan An residential group, Thuan An ward) while anchoring to avoid storm No. 10 was hit by big waves and strong winds, hitting the bridge pillar, breaking the anchor rope and sinking. The incident did not cause any human casualties but caused property damage estimated at about 500 million VND. After the storm has passed, the authorities will coordinate with local authorities and the ship owner to salvage the vehicle.

From September 27 to 5:00 p.m. this afternoon, Border Guard stations coordinated with local authorities on the two border lines to review and organize the evacuation of 1,413 households/4,442 people in vulnerable areas to safe places.
