Specifically, Ho Chi Minh City was named by World Travel Awards 2025 in 3 categories: Asia's Leading Business Travel Destination 2025; Asia's Leading Festival & Event Destination 2025 and Asia's Leading City Tourist Board 2025.

Ho Chi Minh City has been honored in these categories 3-4 times.

Vung Tau, located in the East of Ho Chi Minh City, was awarded the title of Asia's Leading Coastal City Break Destination 2025 for the first time.
