Peach growing is a traditional occupation of Nhat Tan people. In the years 1990-1995, the area of ​​rice fields in this ward was only about 34 hectares. After 1998, people moved to the Red River bank to grow peaches and since then it has grown to about 78 hectares.

Peach blossoms bloom early, people have to prune the flowers to concentrate nutrients on the young buds.

The whole region has 802 households attached to the profession and currently, Nhat Tan peach has a 4-star OCOP product.

Peach trees over 3 meters high were transplanted according to customer orders. Mr. Hung, the garden owner, said that out of 300 trees in the garden, more than 60% of the trees were ordered before Tet and have been moved. Early blooming peach trees, newly grafted peach trees, and sprouted peach trees are being replanted to serve next year.

Many people also go to the garden to choose and buy peach branches to display for Tet.

In recent years, at the foot of Nhat Tan bridge, many households have planted peach trees along the Red River. The peach trees planted along this section are mainly 5-6 year old peach trees.

The That Thon peach tree is about 60 years old. The garden owner said it is an original tree without grafting. The base of the tree is rough like a dead bark, black and covered with moss. The owner only rents this tree, not sells it. The rental price for one month during Tet is 300 million VND.

The 50cm high Seven-inch Peach Tree worth several million was carefully transported. The edges of the pot were adjusted so that when moving, it would not collide, and would not lose leaves or flowers.

Peach blossoms are in full bloom, at noon, when the weather is sunny, many people come to take souvenir photos.

Peach traders in Quoc Oai district go to the garden to collect peach branches to sell at the market. Each peach branch costs about 250,000 VND.

This year, people prefer the curved peach branches because they can be easily displayed in apartment buildings. The direction of the branches is easy to decorate, there are many flowers, and the price ranges from 300,000 VND to 2 million VND per branch.
