Ninh Phuoc Commune gives 480 Mid-Autumn gifts to children

On October 4, Ninh Phuoc Commune Youth Union coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune and Long Quy Pagoda to organize the program "4th Loving Mid-Autumn Festival".

At the program, the Organizing Committee presented 480 gifts, worth 150,000 VND each, including moon cakes, lanterns, candies, and milk to children in primary and secondary schools in the commune; and also presented 20 scholarships (worth 500,000 VND each), 20 school bags, and 200 notebooks to students in difficult circumstances who have made efforts to study well. The gifts and scholarships were sponsored by Long Quy Pagoda and Buddhists.

Children participating in the program also got to watch lion dances, circus performances and exciting and attractive performances. This practical and meaningful activity not only helped children in Ninh Phuoc commune to have a joyful and warm Mid-Autumn Festival, but also showed concern and helped students in difficult circumstances have more conditions to take care of their studies and practice.
