Tan Lac commune was established on the basis of merging the entire administrative boundaries of Tu Ne, Thanh Hoi, Dong Lai, Ngoc My communes and Man Duc town. In the period of 2020-2025, emulation and reward work has always been closely directed by the Party Committee and the government, organized and implemented methodically, associated with key political tasks, in accordance with the practical situation of each period. Patriotic emulation movements are increasingly going into depth, creating a vibrant atmosphere, arousing the will to rise up in all people, contributing to promoting socio-economic development, maintaining national defense and security and building an increasingly strong, streamlined, effective and efficient political system.

Competition from the grassroots - spreading from specific actions

Right from the beginning of each year, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Tan Lac commune have launched and implemented emulation plans that are close to the actual situation, linked to the socio -economic development tasks of the locality. Villages, hamlets, and mass organizations base on that to build specific and practical emulation contents and targets. Thanks to that, the movements no longer stop at form, but go into depth, creating clear changes in people's lives.

Typically, in the movement "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas", people in the commune voluntarily donated land, contributed working days and funds to concretize rural roads, build village cultural houses, and improve the environmental landscape.

The movement to build new rural areas is increasingly developing, the rural appearance in the commune has changed significantly, the infrastructure system has been invested and upgraded to become more and more modern. The emulation movement has attracted a large number of people from all walks of life to participate, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of the people; strengthening the work of ensuring national defense - security, maintaining social order and safety; preserving and promoting traditional cultural values. The People's Committee of the commune has focused on leading and directing the synchronous implementation of solutions to maintain and improve the new rural criteria; building an advanced new rural commune, a model new rural commune. Outstanding among the emulation movements of Tan Lac commune is the movement “For the poor - no one is left behind”, which has truly become a guiding principle in social security policies. Every year, the commune proactively reviews and makes a list of poor, near-poor, and suddenly difficult households to have appropriate support plans both materially and spiritually.

The emulation movement has promoted the combined strength of the entire political system in propagating and raising organizational awareness; mobilizing organizations and individuals to participate in the emulation movement to successfully implement the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction.

Poverty reduction work is focused on fully and promptly implementing current poverty reduction policies, such as preferential credit policies, vocational training policies, health care support, education , housing, electricity bill support, etc. Hunger eradication and poverty reduction work is always considered a key task. Every year, poverty reduction targets are assigned to areas and hamlets to implement, mobilizing all resources for investment in economic development. The national target program on sustainable poverty reduction for the period 2021-2025 is implemented synchronously. In the period 2020-2025, the rate of poor households will decrease to 3.8%, the rate of near-poor households will decrease to 6%.

People of Tan Lac commune are entitled to preferential credit loans from the Social Policy Bank.

In particular, during the peak emulation period of "450 days and nights to complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for the poor", the whole commune built 106 new houses, repaired 80 houses with a total cost of 13,492 million VND (central budget 8,200 million VND, local budget 112 million VND, household contributions 5,180 million VND), mobilizing 1,488 working days.

Along with social security work, the economic development emulation movement has also made a clear mark when more and more effective production models have appeared. Many households have boldly transformed the structure of crops and livestock, applied science and technology to agricultural production, and formed comprehensive economic models and new-style cooperatives.

Competition is motivation and responsibility.

The patriotic emulation movement is not only limited to the economic field, but also spreads to many aspects of life - from education, health, security and order to administrative reform. Agencies and units in the commune all use emulation results as criteria for year-end emulation evaluation, encouraging cadres and civil servants to innovate their working style and improve the quality of service to the people.
