On the morning of November 8, the leader of the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang said that the document allowing students in the entire city to stay home from school due to heavy rain posted on social networking sites was fake, and teaching and learning in the area were still taking place normally.
According to Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang, Tran Nguyen Minh Thanh, early this morning (November 8), as soon as he received information about a fake document from the Department with the content "allowing students to take a day off on November 8", the Department urgently notified units and schools to inform parents and students.
Fake documents posted on social networking sites.
“ At the same time, the City Education Trade Union Fanpage also posted a message reminding parents and students to be careful and only receive notifications from homeroom teachers. According to the update, the situation at schools this morning was normal, with no major disruptions ,” Mr. Thanh added.
Specifically, early this morning, on the Facebook page of the Da Nang Education Trade Union, a warning was posted about the appearance of a fake document from the Department of Education allowing students to stay home from school on social networks. In this fake document, students in Da Nang City are informed to stay home from school on November 8 due to heavy rain caused by the influence of a tropical depression...
Notably, this document was forged quite sophisticatedly, with a red seal and the name of Ms. Le Thi Bich Thuan, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang, printed on the signatory.
Currently, the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang is coordinating with relevant agencies to verify and handle the person who posted this fake information.
