3 Gia Lai female entrepreneurs honored as "Vietnam Golden Rose 2025"

The event was organized by the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in coordination with the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council, the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) and the Business Forum Magazine on the occasion of the Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day (October 13) and Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20).

Among the 98 outstanding female entrepreneurs honored this year, Gia Lai has 3 representatives including: Ms. Dong Thi Anh, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of PISICO Corporation - Joint Stock Company, Chairwoman of Binh Dinh Women Entrepreneurs Association; Ms. Hoang Thi Phuong Lien, Director of Phuong Linh Construction Company Limited, Vice Chairwoman of Binh Dinh Women Entrepreneurs Association; and Ms. Cao Thi Kim Lan, Director of Binh Dinh Seafood Joint Stock Company, Vice Chairwoman of Binh Dinh Women Entrepreneurs Association.

In particular, Ms. Dong Thi Anh is one of the 10 most outstanding female entrepreneurs in the country, honored in the Top 10 "Golden Roses of Vietnam in 2025" thanks to her outstanding contributions in production, business and social work.

With more than 30 years of experience in the fields of manufacturing, import-export and investment, she is a pioneer in developing multi-industry private enterprises in the locality.

Under her leadership, PISICO not only makes a great contribution to the provincial budget, creates stable jobs for more than 2,000 workers, but is also honored to receive the Second Class Independence Medal in 2022.

Ms. Anh herself was awarded the Second Class Labor Medal in 2019, and is a dynamic businesswoman, dedicated to the local business movement.

The title of Outstanding Vietnamese Businesswoman - Golden Rose is not only a recognition of achievements but also affirms the mettle, intelligence and pioneering role of Vietnamese businesswomen in the country's sustainable development.

The “Golden Rose” voting and honoring program was initiated by VCCI in 2005 and has been held 10 times so far. The activity contributes to affirming the role of female entrepreneurs in economic development, spreading humanistic values and social responsibility; at the same time, inspiring the young generation of female entrepreneurs, promoting the spirit of innovation and sustainable integration.

In the context of deep integration, Vietnamese women increasingly affirm their role in political, economic and social life.

Currently, women-owned businesses account for nearly 24% of the total number of businesses nationwide, an impressive rate in the ASEAN region.

Women make up more than 63% of the workforce and are present in almost all fields, from education, health to science, technology and innovation.

With 51% of Vietnamese enterprises having women in their ownership structure, and the proportion of female deputies in the 15th National Assembly reaching 30.26% - among the highest in the Asia-Pacific region, Vietnamese women are increasingly asserting their leadership capacity, management skills and aspirations to contribute.
