Amidst the vast green grass and drifting clouds, from noon on August 9, Bui Hui grassland (Dang Thuy Tram commune, Quang Ngai ) welcomed 6,000 tourists to participate in the Cultural and Tourism Festival "Prairie Night - Touching the Clouds".
Touching the clouds in Bui Hui grassland
Bui Hui is like the "muse" of the mountains and forests of Quang Ngai, a beautiful landscape that has existed for generations but few people know about it. Only in recent years have some young people with a passion for exploration discovered the windy steppe.
The pictures of the dreamy steppe gradually attract tourists to this place. But the biggest obstacle is that Bui Hui is too remote. Dang Thuy Tram commune is covered with mountains and forests, so to "touch the clouds" on the steppe is not an easy task.
In addition, there has not been any cultural, tourism, music, or culinary event that is worthy of the charming beauty of this place. The lack of breakthrough in tourism has turned Bui Hui into a "princess" sleeping forever in the deep forest.
Then suddenly, the cultural event "Prairie Night - Touching the Clouds" was organized by the People's Committee of Dang Thuy Tram Commune. The information spread, and tourists flocked to Bui Hui. According to government statistics, about 6,000 visitors visited Bui Hui since the afternoon of August 9.
Ending the music night with the theme "Love", 4,000 people said goodbye to the steppe with good memories; 2,000 people stayed, enjoying the steppe night in tents with the gentle cold.

New ways to make Quang Ngai tourism take off
Quang Ngai has long organized many festivals and events to promote its tourism image. However, the method has not really spread, helping tourists know the beautiful landscapes stretching from sea to mountain of the province.
Coming to Bui Hui to touch the clouds, a seemingly simple event, but thanks to taking advantage of the scenery and the spread of the event, it has helped people go up the mountain to Bui Hui.
Tourist Ai Van (Quang Ngai City) said she had been to Bui Hui before, but this time she and her small family could truly "breathe" nature and fully feel the captivating H're ethnic identity.
"I enjoyed the dances of the H're people and the strange yet familiar dishes. It was a wonderful event. Quang Ngai needs to organize more of them. And most importantly, good communication is needed to spread the beauty of the homeland. For a long time, too few people have known about the beauty of Quang Ngai," said Ms. Van.
Amidst the romantic space of clouds and Bui Hui grassland, many singers from Ho Chi Minh City came to Bui Hui grassland to sing, immersing the audience in a romantic space with the song "Where love begins" by musician Tien Minh and the song "Love you" by musician Phan Manh Quynh...
The singers themselves were also fascinated by the event, they felt happy to sing in a beautiful space.
"Standing on stage in the middle of Bui Hui grassland with fresh air, the sound of wind blowing, clouds hugging me, I felt the music blend with nature. A wonderful experience, I will tell my friends about this place", singer Anh Kiet expressed.
Thousands of tourists come to Bui Hui to immerse themselves in the natural scenery and culture of the mountainous region of Quang Ngai.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Van, Chairwoman of Dang Thuy Tram Commune People's Committee, said: "The event "Prairie Night - Touching the Clouds" is the first step in the journey to become a meeting place for art and tourism development.
"It was a real surprise and a pleasure to see Bui Hui welcome such a large number of visitors after just one event. This is the starting point for the journey to make the dream of developing Bui Hui tourism come true," said Ms. Van.
A successful event when visitors said goodbye to the beautiful steppe and all said they would come back to this place.
