69 outstanding national Association officials received the "October 15" Award

On the morning of October 11, in Hanoi , the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union celebrated the 69th anniversary of the Vietnam Youth Union's Traditional Day (October 15, 1956 - October 15, 2025), awarded the "October 15" Award and opened Youth Fest - Pride of Vietnamese Youth.

Before the program, the youth delegation receiving the "October 15" Award attended the Achievement Reporting Ceremony, offered incense to President Ho Chi Minh ; interacted with award-winning individuals and examples of beautiful living youth with the Capital Association officials.

Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union Nguyen Tuong Lam reviewed the 69-year tradition of the Vietnam Youth Union. Under the leadership of the Party and the core political role of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Vietnam Youth Union has always been a common home, a place to light the flame of patriotism, the spirit of volunteerism and the aspiration to build the country.

Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union Nguyen Tuong Lam shared that since the 7th Congress in 2014, the movement "I love my Fatherland" has become the main and consistent movement in the work of the Union.

From that movement, a series of programs bearing strong humanitarian imprints were deployed such as "Footsteps for the community", "March on the border", "Sharing with teachers", "Youth Workers' Festival", or the Youth Living Beautifully Award", "October 15", "Outstanding young families", "Outstanding young entrepreneurs"... All of these created an environment for young people to practice their mettle, develop their intelligence and grow up in the journey of asserting themselves, contributing to their families, homeland and country.

Not only stopping at the domestic scope, the Vietnam Youth Union has also become a bridge connecting Vietnamese youth with international friends, affirming the role and position of Vietnamese youth in regional and global forums. Currently, the Union has developed strongly with nearly 9 million members, 34 provincial Union organizations, 4 Union organizations in large corporations and groups and 6 Vietnamese Youth - Student Union organizations abroad.

Comrade Nguyen Tuong Lam called on each cadre, member and youth to continuously train and strive to continue the glorious 69-year tradition of the Association, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the upcoming 14th Party Congress, bringing the country into a new era, standing shoulder to shoulder with the world powers, as wished by beloved Uncle Ho.

Within the framework of the celebration, 69 outstanding Association officials nationwide were awarded the "October 15" Award, recognizing the efforts, creativity and dedication of Association officials across the country.

The program also included a series of activities called Youth Fest - Pride of Vietnamese Youth in 2025; the program "Each youth has a book as a friend" and many other exciting activities.
