Making AI the breath of life, technology serving humanity
Leaders Forum 2025 is the opening event of HCMC Business Summit 2025: “Convergence and Reach”, co-organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association (YBA HCM) and the Ho Chi Minh City Women Entrepreneurs Association (HAWEE). With the theme “High-touch vs High-tech: Humanity × AI × Impact”, the pioneering leadership forum raises a question of the times: “Will AI make us lose our human core or become a lever for leadership to reach deeper into humanity?”
Sharing at the seminar, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa - General Directorof FPT affirmed: "AI is not just technology, but the breath of life. We bring AI into every corner of work to enhance human capacity, not replace humans."

FPT CEO said that FPT has currently deployed 1,000 AI Agents to serve 84,000 employees; from CodeVista - programmer assistant, AI Mentor - personalized learning platform, to myFPT, FPT Chat, FPT Place - human resource management and digital communication ecosystem... These are specific examples of FPT's "AI in life" strategy.
Furthermore, FPT builds a “comprehensive AI ecosystem” designed according to 3 main goals “Profit - Productivity - Exchange”: Profit helps increase profits; Productivity helps improve labor productivity; and Exchange promotes Innovation.
The Group also targets 20% of innovative ideas directly related to AI through the iKhien program - an internal innovation playground that has recorded 2,500 - 3,000 initiatives each year. In 2024, the iKhien initiative will help increase labor productivity by ~30%, generating over VND 865 billion in profit, of which AI contributes about 23%, equivalent to VND 200 billion.
Culture is a strategic filter in digital transformation
According to FPT General Director: "If you want to go fast, use technology. If you want to go long-term, use culture. Technology is the tool, culture is the identity."
This is also FPT's commitment to long-term investment in people. In 2024 alone, the Group has implemented an AI popularization program for tens of thousands of employees, and designed in-depth courses for leaders and middle managers. The goal is to train 100% of employees in AI, helping employees be proactive, confident, and avoid the mentality of being replaced in the AI era.
A concrete example of the “hi-touch” approach is the story of FPT switching to using 3 new work platforms, including: myFPT Next application, internal chat application - FPT Chat and internal social network - FPT Place. The myFPT Next application plays the role of a "super app", integrating important features revolving around 5 core values: Communication; Performance management; Honor; Personal development; Welfare. With this "super app", member units of the Group can build and attach specific "mini apps" of each unit to the common platform, enhancing internal connections and optimizing the user experience. At the same time, the internal chat platform FPT Chat and the internal social network FPT Place replace Workplace and WorkChat of Meta which have stopped working.
Initially, employees were skeptical, but thanks to prioritizing practical usage value, bringing the utilities that employees care about most to the myFPT Next application such as viewing salaries, bonuses, insurance..., developing the feature of assigning tasks directly on FPT Chat, combined with the leadership's pioneering trial, the usage rate has now reached 87.6% after only two months.
FPT CEO emphasized: “FPT chooses to approach AI responsibly and humanely: putting people at the center so that technology becomes a tool to enhance, not replace.” With this orientation, Mr. Khoa called on Vietnamese business leaders to consider AI as an opportunity to reinvent not only products, but also thinking, culture, working methods and human resource development.
