Danang Department of Construction directs response to storm Bualoi

The Department of Construction requests management and maintenance units to regularly maintain roads and inland waterways, ensure drainage works are always clear, and signaling systems are complete and clear.

Disaster prevention and recovery work must ensure the safety of people, equipment and structures. Special attention must be paid to construction projects in mountainous areas that are prone to flash floods and landslides.

Construction and supervision units of road and inland waterway repair projects move people to safe places, gather machinery and equipment in convenient places, not obstructing traffic to be ready to respond in case of traffic jams. Reserve food, medicine, raw materials to prevent traffic jams and isolation for many days.

Project Management Board 4 (representing the investor of the project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 14E) and project management boards under the city inspected the site of unfinished construction works, requiring contractors to take preventive measures to ensure safety during the rainy and stormy season.

People's Committees of communes, wards and special economic zones urgently review the entire drainage system under their management according to decentralization; speed up dredging and clearing of sewers, ensuring completion by September 2025.

Speed ​​up the progress of pruning public trees; direct schools and educational and training facilities within their management to organize inspections and handle unsafe trees on school campuses.

The Department of Construction requested the Drainage and Wastewater Treatment Company to urgently preside over and coordinate with relevant units to mobilize all forces to inspect the scene; clear and clean up all water intake gates and ditches under its management; promptly remove odor-blocking covers arbitrarily installed by people; and temporarily block off drainage outlets.

Arrange staff on duty, prepare vehicles and equipment to promptly handle important drainage locations at risk of flooding in urban areas such as the following routes: Hai Ho, Nui Thanh, Nguyen Van Linh, Ham Nghi, Le Duan, Hoang Hoa Tham, Ong Ich Khiem, Ha Huy Tap, Nguyen Trac, Le Tan Trung.

For the anti-flood pumping stations (Thuan Phuoc, Truong Chi Cuong, K20, Dao Xanh, Ong Ich Khiem, Yen Khe 2), the company urgently checked the power source and related issues to ensure the pumping stations must operate stably. Proceed to lower the water level in the regulating lakes to the lowest possible level (29/3 Park Lake, Thac Gian - Vinh Trung Lake, K5 Lake).

The Parks and Trees Company urgently reviews and immediately handles cases of trees at risk of falling and causing unsafe conditions on streets and public works.
