Impressions of "Mui Ne Museum of Antiquities"

Located in the middle of an ancient fishing village in Mui Ne ward, Phan Thiet city, Binh Thuan province, "Mui Ne Antiquities Museum" is a unique cultural highlight, telling the thousand-year history of the South Central region and many different cultures through artifacts of high historical, economic and cultural value.

Mui Ne Antiquities Museum is a private museum founded and owned by Mr. Nguyen Ngoc An, born in 1975, officially put into operation in 2023 in Quarter 5, Mui Ne Ward, Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Province.

The museum currently displays more than 40,000 artifacts and antiquities dating from 1,500 BC to before 1975, divided into many themes. These include artifacts of Dong Son culture, Oc Eo culture, Khmer culture, Sa Huynh culture, artifacts of Dinh, Le, Ly, Tran dynasties, and artifacts serving religious beliefs. The artifacts and antiquities reflect the development of the Champa Kingdom, the economic and cultural exchange of the South Central region with China and India in ancient and medieval times.
