On the fateful morning of September 8, 2025, after finishing his night shift, Mr. Nguyen Dong Canh was preparing to go home when he received an order from the Xuan Loc Commune Police Command requesting coordination in searching for Nguyen Van Ty, the person who intentionally caused injury to his sister-in-law.

Holding her 3-year-old son tightly in her arms with tears rolling down her cheeks, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Tham, Mr. Canh's wife, sobbed and said: Both families are in difficult circumstances. She herself has no job and is raising a small child. All living expenses depend on her husband's monthly salary and the help of both families. At the beginning of this year, having saved up some money, Canh pooled his money to buy shrimp seeds and asked his father-in-law to help raise and raise them, hoping to get some "sea luck" to have enough money to cover living expenses and buy a washing machine for his wife to help during her pregnancy. However, that seemingly simple dream never came true...
