Pong Drang Commune: Twinning group No. 5 is twinned with 2 villages with many ethnic minorities.

On the afternoon of October 4, Twinning Group No. 5, headed by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Pong Drang commune, established a twinning relationship with Tan Thinh village and Tan Lap 1 village (Pong Drang commune).

Twinning group No. 5 includes the following units: Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Pong Drang commune, Nam A Commercial Joint Stock Bank, Nguyen Hue Secondary School, Kim Dong Primary School, Hoa Mi Kindergarten, Commune Culture and Social Affairs Department, Krong Buk Traffic Police Station, Nam Viet Driver Training Center, Nghia Loan Trading Company Limited.

At the ceremony, members of Twinning Group No. 5, together with the village elders and representatives of Tan Thinh and Tan Lap 1 villages, signed the "Golden Book of Twinning". Accordingly, from now on, the twinning units will uphold the spirit of solidarity, attachment, mutual support, and mutual assistance, regularly maintain close contact and connection with the village, helping people feel secure, take care of production, and improve their lives. Through the twinning work, they will grasp the legitimate and legal thoughts and aspirations of the people to promptly reflect and propose to the local authorities.

Members of the 5th brotherhood group signed a commitment with the village elders, representatives of Tan Thinh village and Tan Lap 1 village.

Tan Thinh village has 116 households, including 45 ethnic minority households and 182 people. Tan Lap 1 village has 137 households, including 20 ethnic minority households and 74 people. Since its establishment (2009), Tan Thinh and Tan Lap 1 villages have changed a lot. The proportion of well-off households has increased, and the material and spiritual life of the people has gradually improved.

The twinning is of great significance, creating a bridge connecting solidarity between agencies, departments, local authorities and people, thereby contributing to building great national unity, promoting socio -economic development, and improving the lives of ethnic people in the area.

Twinning group number 5 gives gifts to villagers
Twinning group No. 5 presented security camera projects to Tan Thinh village and Tan Lap 1 village.

At the twinning ceremony, Twinning Group No. 5 donated a security camera system worth 6 million VND and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune gave 200 gifts to children in the two villages on the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival, with a total value of over 7 million VND.
