Today (September 27), the Aqua Warriors Van Don 2025 - Camel Cup tournament organized by Dan Tri newspaper in collaboration with Bolt Event at Sonasea Van Don Harbor City Resort Complex, Van Don Special Zone, Quang Ninh province will officially enter the first day of competition in 3 categories: Open Water Mixes Team Relay, Junior Aqua Warriors and Kids Aqua Warriors.

Notably, this is the first time the Aqua Warriors tournament has featured the 4x750m Open Water Mixed Team Relay. Each team consists of 4 athletes (at least 1 male and 1 female), each athlete takes turns swimming 750m before handing the chip to their teammates.
According to information from the organizing committee, more than 2,000 athletes have registered to participate in the events of the Aqua Warriors Van Don 2025 tournament. The tournament witnessed the largest number of registered athletes ever.
The weather in Van Don is sunny and windy. Therefore, many athletes went to the beach at Sonasea Van Don Harbor City Resort Complex to experience the test swimming track.
Mr. Quang Hoa from Dak Lak , who arrived very early at the trial swimming course, confided: “This is the first time I have the opportunity to compete in the Aqua Warriors tournament. I will compete in two events: Ultra Aqua Warriors and relay swimming. Therefore, I arrived here early to experience the swimming course.

"The attraction of Aqua Warriors Van Don 2025 - Camele Cup is the Open water mixed team relay 4x750m. This is the first time this event has appeared, so both I and many other athletes are very interested. This event also creates a more cohesive playground, promoting team spirit," said Ms. Huong Thao about the event she registered to participate in at the tournament taking place in Quang Ninh - where her whole family lives and works.

Young athlete determined to defend championship title at Aqua Warrioros Van Don 2025 - Camel Cup
Ahead of the Aqua Warriors Van Don 2025 - Camel Cup on September 27 and 28, athlete Hoang Hai Nam is still practicing diligently with the goal of defending his championship title in the Junior Aqua Warriors category.
Hoang Hai Nam (born in 2016) is a familiar face to the Aqua Warriors tournaments organized by Dan Tri newspaper and Bolt Event in 2025.
At the Aqua Warriors Halong Bay 2025 tournament held in April, Hoang Hai Nam easily won first place in the Kids Aqua Warriors category for athletes under 9 years old. Unfortunately, the achievement of the athlete from the Viet Hung Ward swimming team (Hanoi) was not recognized due to a violation in the running competition (running shirtless and finishing).

However, at the Aqua Warriors Quang Tri 2025 tournament held last July, Hoang Hai Nam made no mistakes to win first place in the Junior Aqua Warriors category.
The talent of this young athlete is highly appreciated by the Organizing Committee of the Aqua Warriors tournament, so he is one of the few athletes to receive a Bib from the Organizing Committee inviting him to participate in the Aqua Warriors Van Don 2025 - Camel Cup (taking place on September 27 and 28 in Quang Ninh) completely free of charge.
"I was invited to participate so I practiced even harder, with the goal of competing for a medal to not disappoint everyone's expectations. Compared to when I competed in the Kids Aqua Warriors category at the Aqua Warriors Halong Bay 2025 tournament in April, this time I competed in the Junior Aqua Warriors category so competing for a medal will be much more difficult," said Hoang Van Hien, Hoang Hai Nam's father and also the coach of the Viet Hung ward swimming team.
