Bac Ninh: Quickly fix the problem of leaking sluice gate at Phu Khe 1 Pumping Station

BAC NINH - Due to rising floodwaters on Ngu Huyen Khe River, at around 9:00 p.m. on October 7, a self-gravity culvert at Phu Khe 1 Pumping Station, Phu Khe Ward, cracked. The pumping station is managed by Bac Duong Irrigation Works Exploitation One Member Limited Liability Company.

Officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command participated in supporting the repair of the culvert leak incident at Phu Khe 1 Pumping Station.

The Phu Khe 1 Pumping Station's gravity drain has a wide aperture of 1.8 x 2.8 m, draining water from the fields to Ngu Huyen Khe River, with a sluice gate measuring 2 x 3 m.

Immediately after discovering the incident, Bac Duong Irrigation Works Exploitation One Member Limited Liability Company mobilized the unit's forces and Tu Son Irrigation Works Exploitation Enterprise, and at the same time reported to the Phu Khe Ward Civil Defense Command to request support from the force to focus on handling the incident.

The cracked drainage culvert at Phu Khe 1 Pumping Station was repaired before 7:00 a.m. on October 8.

With the motto of "4 on-site", the forces participating in troubleshooting of Bac Duong Irrigation Works Exploitation One Member Limited Liability Company, Tu Son Irrigation Works Exploitation Enterprise, Phu Khe Ward Civil Defense Command and more than 30 officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command completed the earthwork to completely fill the culvert before 7:00 a.m. on October 8.

Phu Khe 1 pumping station has 5 units, ensuring drainage for agricultural production, people's lives, and urban areas in a basin of more than 1,000 hectares of Phu Khe ward.
