Rising floodwaters have cut off and isolated many villages in the communes of Hop Thinh, Hoang Van, Dong Ky, Bo Ha, Tien Luc, etc.; prolonged power outages have seriously affected daily life. With the spirit of mutual support, businesses, clubs, volunteer groups, and individuals in Bac Ninh province have quickly implemented many practical support activities such as: Donating necessities, food, cooking free meals, calling for support by motorboats to reach and help people in flooded areas.

Responding to the call of the Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province to mobilize support for people to overcome the damage caused by storms and floods, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation has mobilized grassroots unions in the area to join hands to support funds and goods. Up to this point, the Provincial Labor Federation has mobilized support for necessities including: Nearly 2,000 boxes of instant noodles; more than 800 boxes of water and thousands of boxes of dry food and cakes of all kinds.
Grassroots unions actively support such as: Goertek Vina Company, Luxshare - ICT Limited Liability Company (Van Trung), Samsung Electronics Vietnam Limited Liability Company (SEV), Newwing Interconnect Technology Limited Liability Company ( Bac Giang ); Hong Hai Science and Technology Group; Ha Bac Fertilizer and Chemical Joint Stock Company.
Along with organizing a working group to directly give gifts to support people (4 communes: My Thai, Bo Ha, Yen The, Xuan Luong), the unit directed commune, ward and grassroots trade unions to arrange forces and coordinate with local authorities to support people in affected areas, especially in cleaning schools and houses after the water recedes.
On October 8 and 9, through the Provincial Red Cross, the Binh An Yoga Charity Club (Bac Giang Ward) organized the cooking of 260 free meals for people and forces participating in dike protection and flood prevention in the communes of Tien Luc and My Thai. The meals were carefully prepared, ensuring nutrition, helping people ensure health and overcome difficulties.
The club also mobilized 20 barrels of water, 10 barrels of milk and plans to continue to call for more resources to cook more meals in the coming days. The Bac Ninh Good Heart Group donated 100 life jackets, 15 barrels of dry food, 50 barrels of milk, 20 barrels of drinking water and 30 packages of cakes, worth 40 million VND...

Ms. Nguyen Thi Yen (Tan Tien ward) and her group of friends called for and mobilized donations of more than 700 fresh loaves of bread, nearly 100 barrels of water, 150 life jackets, 70 barrels of instant noodles, milk and cakes of all kinds, and directly delivered them to people in Dong Ky and Yen The communes. Due to deep flooding, access to the flooded areas was difficult. Vehicles transporting relief goods had to go around small roads, and in some sections, they even had to be lifted to move the vehicle.
The practical and timely gifts given to the people on this occasion partly shared their difficulties and helped them stabilize their lives. Thereby, demonstrating the spirit of humanity, solidarity and “helping each other” of our nation.
