The Veterans Association of Phung Cong Commune, Thai Ninh held the 1st Congress of Delegates, term 2025

On October 9, the Veterans Association of Phung Cong and Thai Ninh communes held the 1st Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term.

* Phung Cong Commune

In the past term, the Association of War Veterans of Phung Cong commune actively participated in building and protecting the Party, the State, the People and the great national unity bloc. From 2022 to now, the Association of War Veterans of the commune has mobilized members to support more than 2 billion VND; contributed over 3,000 working days and donated more than 1,000 ^m2 of residential land, demolished auxiliary works to implement the criteria for building a model new rural area in the locality; maintained the activities of 19 self-managed war veteran groups to protect the environment. 19 veteran clubs in the commune operated effectively, helping members in difficult circumstances with jobs, capital, plant varieties, livestock and production experience. In 2024, the Association supported the construction of 1 new house for a member in difficult circumstances with an amount of 60 million VND; supported 1 member damaged by storm No. 3 with an amount of 10 million VND. Up to now, the percentage of War Veterans Association members with good economic status or better has reached nearly 80%, and the Association no longer has poor members. The work of protecting the legitimate rights and interests of members has been carried out effectively and promptly.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Phung Cong Commune War Veterans Association focuses on helping members develop the economy; participating in educating the younger generation about patriotic traditions; every year, striving to have 90% of cadres and members complete their tasks well or better; over 98% of exemplary members and war veteran families achieve the title of "Cultural Family"; no war veteran members fall back into poverty.

* Thai Ninh Commune

Currently, the Thai Ninh Commune Veterans Association has 30 branches with 1,695 members. 100% of the Veterans Association members fully participate in activities, promoting their core role in the movements of the Association and the locality. From 2022 to present, the Commune Veterans Association has mobilized to build a charity fund of more than 124 million VND, and the "Repaying gratitude" fund of more than 34 million VND . The movement “War veterans help each other to do business, reduce poverty sustainably” has achieved remarkable results. Currently, the Association is entrusted with the Transaction Office of Thai Thuy Social Policy Bank to manage 6 savings and loan groups, with a total outstanding debt of more than 10 billion VND; the percentage of members with good income is 53.8%, the percentage of near-poor member households is 0.7%, there are no poor members. The Association actively coordinates to effectively implement movements and campaigns, contributing to the development of the homeland.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Commune Veterans Association continues to promote the tradition of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", build a strong and comprehensive Association; exemplary participation in building and protecting the Party and government, actively contributing to the development of the local economy and society. The Association strives to achieve specific targets including: 100% of members are steadfast and steadfast in politics and ideology; 100% of Association officials are professionally trained; all 30 Veterans Association branches are clean and strong, 98% of member families are "Cultural Families"; each Veterans Association branch builds a model of production, business, and good economic performance; the Association fund is built to reach an average of 400,000 VND/member.
