Provincial Steering Committee for Religious Affairs deploys tasks for 2025

On the afternoon of January 2, the Provincial Steering Committee for Religious Affairs held a conference to summarize activities in 2024 and deploy tasks in 2025. Comrade Chamaléa Thi Thuy, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, and Standing Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Religious Affairs chaired the conference.

In 2024, the religious work of the political system in the province continues to receive attention and focus. Departments, branches, sectors and localities have proactively advised the Party Committee to direct and implement religious work according to the Resolution of the 14th Ninh Thuan Provincial Party Congress, term 2020-2025; Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and resolutions, directives and conclusions of the Central Executive Committee, Politburo, Secretariat and Government on religious work. Party Committees and authorities at all levels strengthen leadership, direction and state management of religion; coordinate to advise and propose competent authorities to strengthen leadership and direction in resolving religious-related cases in the locality to ensure timeliness and compliance with regulations; direct propaganda and mobilize religious dignitaries and followers to believe in and well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's policies and laws; Continue to promote the role of prestigious people and religious leaders in mobilizing and gathering believers to participate in socio-economic development, improving the material and spiritual life of the people. Thanks to that, the religious and belief situation in the province is basically stable. Dignitaries, officials, monks and nuns, and followers of religions basically implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws. The legitimate and legal needs of religious organizations and individuals are taken care of, supported, and facilitated; promote good moral values, religious resources to participate in social security activities and patriotic emulation movements in the locality; actively participate in humanitarian and charitable activities, support and donate to help believers and poor households; support compatriots in the northern provinces affected by natural disasters; respond to patriotic emulation movements, protect the environment, build new rural areas, and civilized urban areas.

In 2025, the Provincial Steering Committee for Religious Affairs requires specialized agencies and members of the Steering Committee, according to their assigned functions and tasks, to continue to lead, direct, inspect, and supervise the implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws related to religion. Improve the effectiveness and efficiency of advisory work and state management in the field of religion, overcome limitations and difficulties; promote the roles and responsibilities of all levels, sectors, and localities; strengthen guidance for religious organizations and individuals to perform well their roles and responsibilities in organizing and managing religious activities in accordance with the charters and regulations of religious organizations and legal regulations. Proactively grasp the situation, correctly assess the reality of incidents; coordinate to advise and resolve promptly, within the authority, arising and complicated incidents related to religion. Strengthening information and propaganda work on the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and the results of socio -economic development in ethnic minority and religious areas. In addition, promoting information management through cyberspace, preventing illegal proselytizing activities; innovating propaganda work to raise awareness, social consensus, and orient public opinion; promptly combating and refuting the distorted arguments of organizations and individuals at home and abroad, taking advantage of ethnic, religious, democratic, and human rights issues to distort, incite, and cause division in the great national unity bloc.
